Samir Motwani: Every sales executive hates to do data entry, and current CRM systems require lots of data to be entered manually for proper reporting. We are trying to resolve those pain points, by building some smart system. It has common functionalities like tasks, deals, followups & contacts management just like other CRM systems. But on top of that it provides following features.

–> Contact suggestions based on your email communication
–> Auto gathering contact information from email signatures and using third party services
–> Email tracking, letting you know if your sent email was opened or any links were clicked from it
–> Gmail plugin to manage your data directly from your inbox
–> Integration with 500+ apps with Zapier

Samir Motwani: Widening the product reach with marketing and partnerships efforts and continuing to acquire new customers has continued to be the top priorities. We have a strong pipeline of great features that we will be launching soon. Specifically, we are excited to about enhancing automation and intelligence with data science.

Samir Motwani: Every company can benefit from sales intelligence. The demand for products like Salesmate is ever increasing and that makes us believe that our future is bright. We are here to stay and we see us taking a much stronger position as the goto software for sales teams.

BusinessInterviews.com: Do you consider yourself successful and by what means do you measure success?

Samir Motwani: Definitely. As an entrepreneur, success of our products, team and customers is success to me. Very early in my career, I rejected a lucrative job offer, and started business at 21, failed multiple times, learnt my lessons and has been able to create massive positive impact. Today, I am leading 100 member team, building great products. Nothing could be a better measure of success than the good change you bring in people’s lives and businesses.

BusinessInterviews.com: What advice do you have for other entrepreneurs and business owners? What do you wish someone told you?

Samir Motwani: Ideas are nothing without actions. I have seen lots of entrepreneurs having great ideas but they keep waiting for a right time to come. Right time will never come, your success will depend on how badly you want it and to what lengths you go to turn it into reality. Speed of your decisions and your actions will determine speed of your success.
