BusinessInterviews.com: How does your approach to fitness differ from the competition?

Drew: I focus on the Positive and eliminate the negative. We are inundated every day with so much information from social media, news, etc…and a lot of it is negative so, I encourage my clients to be “selfish” in the best sense of the word when it comes to exercise and take care of yourself and give yourself a gift every day. You will feel better, have more energy, be more confident, stronger and your relationship with yourself and your loved ones will be better; I see this happen every day and it is so amazing to see the transformations.

BusinessInterviews.com: What advice would you give to someone who is keen to improve their fitness but can’t stand gyms or afford a personal trainer?

Drew: There is so much opportunity for all of us to get active and enjoy the process. This is the basis of my current DVD series; to get my clients to move every day and have fun doing it at a price they can easily afford. If you don’t like gyms then find an activity you do enjoy and do it consistently. Consistency is key when it comes to exercise and fitness; remember it can take mere days to undo what is has taken weeks or months to build up. Any activity you are doing is good and if we are enjoying what we are doing then we are far more likely to stay with it!

BusinessInterviews.com: How important is positive thinking when it comes to meeting goals and staying motivated? What are some tips to keep the momentum going?

Drew: Positive thinking is paramount when it comes to meeting goals and staying motivated. Begin each day being grateful for all the things you have accomplished and the progress that you’ve made toward achieving your fitness goals. If there is one thing that isn’t working then take immediate action toward that goal and I’m certain you will feel better, be motivated to keep going, and ultimately achieve the results you want. This mindset is instrumental in my clients success, especially my clients who have lost 70 pounds in 5 months; 50 pounds in 4 months, etc… start small, stay consistent and the results will flow. While working with my private coaching clients, we focus on achieving long term results through challenging and constantly varied workouts, balanced nutrition, and on-going support . I am recognized for my expertise in functional training and for implementing motivational, ” workouts) and in person that utilize a variety of science based methods and techniques, specifically tailored to best serve each of my clients. You will be introduced to a new way of thinking, positive thinking, and receive a road map for your success, focusing on your safety and wellness first, while providing you with challenging yet attainable goals. Quite simply, focus on the positive and eliminate the negative.

BusinessInterviews.com: What’s one marketing strategy that’s worked well for you?

Drew: The best marketing I’ve done has always been through referrals. As I step onto a national platform with my fitness programs and DVD series, I’ve utilized social media and video in particular to share information, build awareness and create relationships with clients that I have yet to meet in person. The resources we have available to connect with people on a daily basis are so powerful and expand my reach exponentially. I now have clients across the country and that is simply a result of the relationships I have been able to create via social media, my online training programs and now my DVD series. It is awesome!

BusinessInterviews.com: What inspired you to launch your first fitness DVD series, how did you prepare and what insights did you gain from the process?

Drew: I am inspired and motivated every day to help people live happier, healthier, more fit lives starting now! The current statistics in the US show that roughly 2/3 of all adult Americans are overweight or obese. I have heard many, if not all, of the reasons people have said over the years on why they don’t exercise. “I don’t have time, no money, kids, family, work and this list goes on and on”. However, I know that when you give yourself the gift of exercise everyday, you get so many benefits for you and those around you. You have more energy, more confident, stronger, more toned, sleep better, you get along better with your significant other, your co-workers, your kids and more. This DVD series is a very affordable way for people of all ages & all fitness levels to Get Active, Be Fit and Feel Great Everyday! Your time is Now.

BusinessInterviews.com: What’s the most exciting thing on the horizon for you personally or professionally for 2014?

Drew: I am really looking forward to helping more and more people overcome their fears, excuses, frustrations, … and get moving and be in the best shape of their lives physically, mentally and emotionally. We all deserve this and with a little guidance and some gentle pushing you can achieve your fitness goals. Life is good and it is my mission to positively change the lives of everyone I come in contact with and help them enjoy life to the fullest. Fitness has taken me from my freshman year in high school as a 4’11” 90 pound weakling who was completely embarrassed by his body and transformed me into who I am today, a confident, happy, healthy man who has an amazing outlook on life.
