MO: What inspired you to launch your business?

Payman: EWC Presenter is an extension of Easy WebContent which was founded in late 2008 as a simple website editor geared towards anyone who wanted to easily manage the content of their websites without coding knowledge or changes to their existing website.

In 2010 we extended our system to allow site owners to add various interactive features to their site and today we have leaped into creating an easy to use yet powerful site builder that gives non technical users the ability to develop and maintain their web presence.

And today with EWC Presenter we are changing the way engaging content is created. One Tool, Create Any type of Content, Across all Devices Mobile or Web!

MO: Do you have any recent success stories that you’d like to share with our readers? What issue does your core product help solve and how so?

Payman: EWC Presenter simplifies the ability for anyone to create professional content online. Whether you are looking to create a professional website or edit an existing or to design content that helps to better engage your audience through Presentations, Product Demos, Banners, Animations and Infographics, EWC Presenter helps you to deliver on these fronts through our easy to use drag and drop Web App.

MO: What’s the most exciting thing on the horizon for you/your Company?

Payman: We are extremely ambitious about where we are taking Presenter. Our passion for the art of interactive design and graphics combined with our extensive knowledge in HTML5 is allowing us to make Presenter the go to App for creating not just animations, or presentations but a whole spectrum of content types that are in the works.

We have a great team behind Presenter and we listen to what our users want. This is allowing us to quench our users’s thirst for better features and improved functionality so they can have the best experience possible.

MO: Where do you envision your company in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years?

Payman: Look for us in 5 years. We are in the process of creating one tool that becomes a leading provider of interactive content creation across all standard devices.

MO: How do your competitors view you?

Payman: We’re in a sense disrupting the world of interactive content. Traditionally Adobe Flash has been the tool of choice to create interactive content such as animations, banners, website intros and teasers on websites and blogs. But flash we believe (not by choice but by the reality of how technology is evolving) is leading to a dead end when it comes to creating standard content across all platforms Web or mobile.

So our competitors maybe critical of us and what we believe we’re going to achieve long-term with our app. I think that’s a good think when there is criticism; It shows your not following but doing something different.

MO: What advice do you have for other entrepreneurs and business owners? What do you wish someone told you?

Payman: My advice to other entrepreneurs is to be consistent. Creating a successful venture takes time and a lot of heart and many ups and downs. Making the right move and being consistent refines you and your business to a better venture.

I think there are two types of entrepreneurs: the flippers (who start companies and flip them for a sale within a short period of time). In their case perhaps often it’s about making a profit first and perhaps second creating a great lasting product. And I think there is the type that are in it for the long haul; who understand creating great things takes time and ups and downs.

I don’t think one is a better choice than the other; It’s matter of your priorities. I like to believe I fall into the second category.

MO: What’s the biggest risk that you’ve ever taken and how did it turn out?

Payman: I think EWC Presenter is one of the biggest risks we have taken. It’s been an expensive and time consuming venture. 18 months before we reached our Public Beta. Fully Bootstrapped and funded by me and my Web Development company HindSite Interactive.

No one has touched HTML5 to the degree and scale we are going and I’m very comfortable with where we are today and where I see us heading. Perhaps it’s good to ask this question again in a couple years!

MO: Why should users try and use EWC Presenter?

Payman: I’m a firm believer about creating products that you yourself would use. If it’s good enough for me, it’s got to be useful to others as well. I didn’t think our App was close to being there 6 months ago but today my own Web Development company is using EWC Presenter for our own internal and client projects.
