FindYogi is a product comparison engine that allows consumers to make better buying decisions based on intelligent comparison techniques and a value for money index.

MO: What inspired you to launch your business?

Naman: The basic fact that while there were a number of price comparison engines to assist online shopping, there wasn’t an unified single platform which assisted online buyers make an informed buying decision.

MO: What issue does your core product help solve and how so?

Naman: The core product helps a buyer make an informed buying decision and avoid the buyer’s remorse which comes from making a buy which does not fulfill one’s needs. FindYogi does that by not only offering price comparisons, which is just a part of the buying process but by providing better information, intelligent product comparisons and in depth indexes like the value for money index.

MO: What’s the most exciting thing on the horizon for you/your Company?

Naman: The online shopping market continues to grow and it will grow more mature as time progresses. And interacting with consumers to help them shop better by providing new features which realize the value of a product with respect to the consumer’s needs is something we are really excited about.

MO: Where do you envision your company in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years?

Naman: In 5 years FindYogi should be the place of choice where consumers move to before making an online buying decision. 10 years to 20 years from now however is something we haven’t thought about much. Its a long time and the world keeps on changing and so do we.

MO: What advice do you have for other entrepreneurs and business owners? What do you wish someone told you?

Naman: There is lot of learning to do as an entrepreneur. Though one important thing in about being an entrepreneur is trusting and believing in people. You have to be very careful of who you choose to hire but once you’ve done that go all out and trust the person and always believe that the person will do his best.

One other thing is about mistakes. You are going to do tons of mistake, don’t let a mistake take charge of your emotions. Just do whatever needs to be done to fix it, even if it means going a step back.
