MO: What inspired you to launch your business?
Leslie: As an expert in the field, I wanted to share my expertise using the internet to share my message. I’m changing the world – one spray bottle at a time.
MO: Do you have any recent success stories that you’d like to share with our readers?
Leslie: I am a published author and have just started hosting my own national radio show called Clean Green Talk. I’m also an expert for Martha Stewart Living Radio and eHow.com.
MO: What issue does your core product help solve and how so?
Leslie: Today’s homes are filled with toxic chemicals that can be linked to asthma, allergies and even cancer. By removing these toxins, families can have a healthier, happier home.
MO: What has been your biggest challenge as a business owner and how have you met that challenge?
Leslie: Finding good technical people that develop and support the technology needed for ecommerce.
MO: What’s the most exciting thing on the horizon for you/your Company?
Leslie: We are developing a internet TV show that highlight my message and my work.
MO: Where do you envision your company in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years?
Leslie: We will be a national company with certified Green Cleaning Coach’s teaching and encouraging others to take the toxins out of their homes.
MO: Do you consider yourself successful and by what means do you measure success?
Leslie: I consider myself a great success and am enjoying teaching thousands of people how simple it is to go green in their homes. Success for me is having just one person understand how the simple changes they make can have a huge impact on their health and family- and thank me for it!
MO: How do your competitors view you?
Leslie: I’m the only green cleaning coach in the nation – I work closely with other experts such as Ed Begley Jr. and Sara Snow. We are all working together.
MO: What advice do you have for other entrepreneurs and business owners? What do you wish someone told you?
Leslie: Patience is a virtue!
MO: What’s the biggest risk that you’ve ever taken and how did it turn out?
Leslie: The biggest risk was hiring a very expensive PR agent to help me with my public relations. I invested a huge amount of money and found that I did a much better job than they did. I now rely on myself and my gifts to promote my business.
MO: What one thing are you trying to achieve that would take your business to the next level?
Leslie: I want to have a national TV appearance on a morning show such as Good Morning America. I was lucky enough to be on TV with Sam Champion a few months ago and it took my message to the entire country. An appearance on GMA would blow my business out of the water!
