MO: What inspired you to launch your business?

Elizabeth: HomeZada was inspired by personal need. The challenges with managing a home while having a full and busy life were not easy. I wanted the ability to manage my home efficiently with little to no paper and with access anywhere.

MO: Do you have any recent success stories that you’d like to share with our readers?

Elizabeth: HomeZada has a relationship with RE/MAX LLC because RE/MAX saw an opportunity for its agents to provide a smart and useful gift to its clients. Additionally, HomeZada was a finalist in a recently sponsored event by Realogy (the worlds largest franchisor of real estate) for innovative technologies.

MO: What issue does your core product help solve and how so?

Elizabeth: HomeZada allows homeowners to be better organized by inputting data like photos, documents, receipts, warranties, manuals, etc into the system allowing them to find the data about their home or homes in one place. HomeZada allows the homeowner the ability to understand the financial implications of the tasks the do to their home or the contents inside the home helping them be better prepared for any type of scenario involving their home.

MO: What has been your biggest challenge as a business owner and how have you met that challenge?

Elizabeth: The biggest challenge as a business owner is listening to the initial naysayers and pushing forward to recognize that we have thousands of users around the world and some of the world’s largest companies that want to work with us.

MO: What’s the most exciting thing on the horizon for you/your Company?

Elizabeth: The long term growth and opportunity as we continue to build out our solution to meet the needs of our users.

MO: What advice do you have for other entrepreneurs and business owners? What do you wish someone told you?

Elizabeth: If you really believe in what you offer and you know that you have the skills to build a company or you can affiliate with others to support your skills, then stay true and keep moving forward. Passion and sheer will can sometimes win over the rule book that says you need to do build a company according to these defined rules. Be honest with yourself and know your strengths and weaknesses and build relationships with those who can support and add value to your weaknesses.
