BusinessInterviews.com: Can you expand on how developing integrated systems can help contribute to the success of a business?

Ravi: Businesses overlook to integrate systems because they are complex and more often choose to adopt solutions to address their immediate need. This approach could be unsustainable, resulting in 3x costs, time and effort to integrate, later.

BusinessInterviews.com: Can you tell us a bit about how iQuest has recently built and released a cloud based product Vipasi?

Ravi: Vipasi, arose out of a pain point that I came across when working within Fortune 100 companies. The pain point was to align individual and team activities into one with the business processes and achieve a data driven organization. Vipasi as a solution is cost effective, very simple to use and is offered on the cloud.

BusinessInterviews.com: What are some of the most common obstacles you see companies face when it comes to operational efficiency?

Ravi: What I’ve observed is, most organizations need real-time factual operational insights to drive innovation, where decision-making is based less on empirical data. Lack of collaboration among many organizational silos results in creation of many islands of solutions. Additionally, most often employees are disengaged or aren’t motivated and their activities are misaligned with the organizational objectives.

BusinessInterviews.com: What’s the biggest risk that you’ve ever taken and how did it turn out?

Ravi: Translating a solution that addressed a pain point into a product and introducing it into the market with provisional patents, for adoption, has been the biggest risk so far. We have definitely not blossomed yet, but are budding and seek organizations to be served in their quest for information.

Ravi: Penetration of technology within Healthcare while generally low, I foresee more convergence of clinical research and health outcomes facilitated by technology like big data that could transform to enhance life and alleviate pain of patients.
