Kevin Mercuri

Kevin Mercuri is a twenty year veteran of public relations and related disciplines. His experience ranges from the halls of Congress, to Fortune 500 board rooms and basement start-up offices.

He is president & founder of Propheta Communications, a New York based full-service public relations agency. Kevin and his team hold core competencies in media relations corporate communications, start-ups, technology, consumer products, public affairs, social media and more.

Kevin’s experience also extends to Washington, DC where he lobbied and performed public affairs on behalf of business and nonprofit interests including manufacturing, technology, public health, energy and academia.

While serving as communication director for the Washington, DC-based Internet Alliance, Kevin worked with a wide range of technology leaders from AOL to Citibank’s nascent online banking division. Kevin’s Washington team created industry standards for the online banking and gaming industries and is credited with rolling out fledgling technologies to business and consumer audiences.

A graduate and former part-time instructor at Emerson College, Kevin holds a masters degree in communications and sits on the board of several companies and charitable organizations.
