Toneal is an entrepreneur, author, mother, and currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership degree from Argosy University.

MO: Why did you decide to launch Toneal’s To-Dos?

Toneal: After traveling nationwide promoting my book, Pleasing Your Partner: A Spiritual Guide to H.AP.P.I.N.E.S.S., I began to see a need for my services. Individuals in need of relationship help; (aspiring) authors desiring information to help realize their dreams; organizations wanting to increase in knowledge and capital.

MO: What is the biggest misconception that people have about personal development consulting?

Toneal: I believe the biggest misconception people have is that this business is only one-sided; that the services are only geared to increase capital for the business. While the services I offer do come with a price, the effect for the customer is priceless.

MO: You are obviously educated on the subject, currently getting your Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership. How has your education helped you in entrepreneurship?

Toneal: Being educated, allows opportunities that otherwise may go unnoticed. You are able to incorporate the knowledge obtained and help others realize the greatness they possess.

MO: What one piece of advice can you give our readers who want to better themselves today?

Toneal: I’ve said it time and time again, “Despite anyone else’s critiques-Be true to yourself, your vision, and your dream”.

MO: Congrats on being a self published author. Can you tell us more about your book and how you found opportunities to promote it?

Toneal: My book is entitled, Pleasing Your Partner: A Spiritual Guide to H.AP.P.I.N.E.S.S.; it discusses many issues that face relationships, and employs the acronym to provide solutions. Becoming an author, I discovered a whole new world that I never knew existed. There are tons of book expos, festivals, and author pavilions all over the world. Since my undergraduate degree is in Communication, I employed my knowledge and experience to become my own PR agent. Like anything, I gained much of my experience through trial and error; I’ve exhibited in various cities across the country, and all were beneficial in their own ways.

MO: Tell us about the wide range of services you offer! What types of services can we expect from Toneal’s To-Dos Personal Development Consulting?

Toneal:
• For individuals, many are in disastrous relationships, on the verge of giving up, and quickly losing hope. Therefore, I’ve developed seminars in conjunction with my book designed to restore, encourage and empower.

• For authors, I discovered many have just recently embarked upon this journey and are unsure of how to promote themselves. I’ve also found that many aspiring authors are unaware of the steps necessary to publish their work.

• Organizations are always looking for creative ways to increase revenue. Hosting a book signing is a productive fundraising method. The organization’s only responsibility is providing the audience and venue, and they receive up to 25% of my earnings.
