Instead of waiting for the hair care industry to wake up and understand that harmful chemicals are seeping into women’s scalps, we are creating a new wave of products ourselves.

NaturAll Club is a startup that makes fresh fruit hair products for women with curly hair. The company was started in 2016 by Muhga Eltigani, a young University of Pennsylvania graduate who started making her own hair products in college. The company has taken off in the past year, featuring a fresh avocado hair mask and shipping products on a subscription basis. NaturAll Club’s mission is to create products with integrity while fostering and uplifting our community.

BusinessInterviews.com: Do you have any recent success stories that you’d like to share with our readers?

Muhga Eltigani: This year I made it on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list! For me, being the first black hair product company to make it on the list symbolizes the momentum and influence that black women exude. Kinkier hair types are constantly overlooked and underserved in the hair care market, so it’s incredible and shocking to see NaturAll Club recognized on such a national level. It feels surreal and I hope that it opens doors for more black-owned companies.

BusinessInterviews.com: What issue does your core product help solve and how so?

Muhga Eltigani: NaturAll Club is the future of haircare. Instead of waiting for the hair care industry to wake up and understand that harmful chemicals are seeping into women’s scalps, we are creating a new wave of products ourselves. We are the first company to use our manufacturing techniques and innovative technology to bring our customers a fresh fruit hair care line. Our hair is part of our body, so why not put the same good nutrients we put in our bodies, on our bodies? This is the mission and reason I decided to start NaturAll Club.

BusinessInterviews.com: Where do you envision your company in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years?

Muhga Eltigani: NaturAll Club is making products unlike anything else on the market, because we only use natural and fresh ingredients. We’re scaling up this year, and five years from now I see us being a global CPG leader in natural beauty products.

BusinessInterviews.com: Have you had any mentors or role models that have influenced you? Describe the impact.

Muhga Eltigani: I draw inspiration from my mom. I saw her transition from being a stay at home mom to going back to school, and finally becoming a doctor. So many people assume they can’t advance in their careers or start something new once they start raising children, but my mom showed so much persistence. Her determination inspired me to move forward and start my own business, and when I feel like I have a lot on my plate with NaturAll Club, I just think of her going back to school while raising four kids. It puts everything back in perspective.

BusinessInterviews.com: What advice do you have for other entrepreneurs and business owners? What do you wish someone told you?

Muhga Eltigani: It is critical to know that everyone is still figuring it out. I have met some of the most seasoned entrepreneurs out there and they never cease learning, trying out new solutions to complex problems, improving efficiency, and employing new strategies for growth. Consumer markets are always changing, providing new entrepreneurs with opportunities to grow, adapt, and increase revenue.
